Delft, Plateelbakkerij - Dish - Earthenware - Chinoiserie

A small Delftware pottery dish, measuring circa 16,7cm in diameter and weighing 227g, finely decorated blue on in tin glaze to depict a Chinese inspired garden landscape.

Condition: Overall good, small chips and fritting to the rim, no further damages or repairs. The foot rim is chipped under the glaze, an apparent production flaw.

An altogether charming piece of Delft blue and white earthenware choinoiserie in a nice small size, from the mid 18th century.
