Picture frame - Brass

A fine 19th entury gilt brass or bronze picture frame, of asymmetrical design, measuring circa 15,5cm in height and weighing 100g, decorated with foliate ornaments and inlaid with glass cabochons. The frame functions by inserting two glass plates (not included), the photograph is thus held between the plates.

Condition: a few glass stones missing, string added to secure the leg, see pictures. Can be removed, the stand does not require a string to stand upright.
