Description from the seller
For this artwork, only second-hand teddy bears were used, sourced from flea markets or rescued from the trash, and thus immortalized in this way. The work is sold worldwide to art collectors and galleries. The bear also frequently appears on the street in various forms. (See photos).
The original teddy bear is dipped in Ultramarine blue ink. It is then pressed, as a whole, onto acid-free museum paper.
Technique: 1 color cobalt blue, 340 grams acid-free paper

Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late 1990s as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. His work travels the world and has been shown in galleries from Zurich to New York. Especially in the United States, his work has become tremendously popular in recent years and hangs on the walls of several celebrities.
