This is a set of Ukiyo-e themed playing cards from the long-established Japanese playing card manufacturer ANGEL, a typical example of Japanese cultural and creative products from the mid-to-late Showa era.
Brand: ANGEL, a well-known Japanese manufacturer of playing cards and Hanafuda (flower cards), has been producing various cultural and creative themed playing cards since the 1950s. This Ukiyo-e set is one of its classic series.
Date: Based on the packaging design, barcode format, and sticker style, this deck was produced around the 1970s-1980s (mid-to-late Showa era in Japan).
