Circa 1960 - an extremely rare specimen!

This elegant Barro office cabinet from the 60s embodies the timeless charm of mid-century design.
It had been in the possession of an art collector for many years, who was known for his flair for form and the extraordinary. He acquired the cabinet in Belgium, where the Barro Büromöbel company was located in Malines/Mechelen.
Due to age, as part of the liquidation of his collection, his art objects and partly also furniture are now for sale.
With its robust construction and the classic black finish, this cabinet fits seamlessly into any demanding office environment. But this cabinet also shapes any living space with its clear design from that era. The generous glass fronts not only provide a stylish presentation of your documents and collectibles but also give practical access to the contents.

Through the screw-fastened fixation of the three parts, the cabinet can be transported relatively easily in its separated state.
There are age-related signs of wear on the surfaces, but overall it still makes a fairly “fresh” impression.
