Church’s Dubai – Oxford Cap-Toe in Walnut Calf
Product Overview
The Dubai is Church’s contemporary take on the quintessential formal Oxford. While it maintains the elegance of a classic cap-toe, it features a more streamlined and elongated silhouette compared to traditional models like the Consul. Meticulously crafted in Northampton, England, this shoe is the perfect balance between heritage craftsmanship and modern professional style.

Key Features:
Construction: Traditional Goodyear Welted construction for maximum durability and ease of resoling.

Material: Premium calf leather with a natural finish, providing a rich depth of color and a soft feel.

Sole: Half-leather, half-rubber sole. The leather waist ensures elegance, while the factory-fitted rubber toe protection (as seen in photos) provides extra grip and longevity in high-wear areas.

Size: 9 UK

Details: Precise tonal double-stitching on the cap-toe and facings, blind eyelets for a minimalist look, and hand-written internal sizing calligraphy.

Sizing and Fit Guide: The 136 Last
The 136 Last is known for its "elongated" and tapered profile. It is one of Church’s more modern shapes.

Important Sizing Note: The 136 Last generally runs large in length but offers a narrower, more snug fit across the width.

Length: Due to the "elongated" toe, there will be more space at the front of the shoe compared to a round-toe model. This is an intentional design feature to create a slim silhouette.

The Recommendation: * For slim to average feet: We recommend going down a half size from your usual UK size (e.g., if you normally wear a UK 9, choose a UK 8.5). This will prevent heel slippage caused by the extra length.

For wider feet: Stick to your true UK size, but be aware that the toe box will feel long. If you usually require a wider fitting (G fit), the standard F fit on this last might feel tight.

Feel: When new, the shoe should feel firm across the bridge and the ball of the foot. The Goodyear welted sole will require a "break-in" period to become flexible.
