Frammenti is an original 2026 acrylic painting by Maria Paola Mortellaro in abstract style, measuring 120 by 80 cm, hand-signed, in excellent condition, from Italy and sold directly by the artist, featuring blue, violet and silver accents.
Description from the seller
The work presents itself as a tight interweaving of dynamic gestures. On a base of deep blues, and lavender shades, silver accents emerge that catch the light, creating metallic reflections that change depending on the exposure and the observer's angle. The spatula technique lends a tactile three-dimensionality.
The large format, with dimensions of 120x80 cm, gives a strong stage presence, perfect for enhancing living rooms, offices, or open spaces.
Protected with a transparent final varnish to preserve the brilliance of the acrylic pigments over time.
Original, signed, in perfect condition.
Maria Paola Mortellaro lives and works in Palermo. A mathematics teacher, she translates into her canvases the pursuit of that harmony and those invisible structures that, just like in numbers, bring order to chaos.
She began her autodidactic journey in 2019, finding in painting a form of catharsis and a language capable of transforming restlessness into balance.
Her works have been exhibited in group shows both in person and via videoprojection. Among her main achievements:
International Recognition: An artwork awarded in an international contest and exhibited in Paris.
Public Collections: An artwork is part of the permanent collection in the town of Altavilla Milicia (PA).
The artistic value of her work is documented in important industry publications:
Artisti '26 - Annuario Internazionale d'Arte Contemporanea: Volume with critical texts by Vittorio Sgarbi, Marco Rebuzzi and other experts
Synchroni - Collana d'Arte Contemporanea (Vol. 1): Edited by Maria Di Stasio, PAV Edizioni
