Voorzijde: Staande ridder naar rechts, houdend een zwaard en een pijlenbundel. Tekst: CONCORDIA RES PAR CRES TRA.

Deze dukaat is een fraaie getuige van de bloeiperiode van de Republiek der Zeven Verenigde Nederlanden in de 18e eeuw. De tekst op de voorzijde, 'Concordia res parvae crescunt' (Eendracht maakt macht/kleine zaken groeien door eendracht), was destijds de kern van de Nederlandse handelsfilosofie. De gouden dukaat was eeuwenlang de 'wereldmunt' van het internationale handelsverkeer, gewaardeerd om zijn betrouwbare gewicht en zuiverheid, en werd tot ver buiten de landsgrenzen als betaalmiddel geaccepteerd.
