Manufactured in China between 1950 and 1960, this rug stands out for its silk-on-silk construction, a traditional technique that brings elegance, delicacy and a high level of artisanal finish.
Its floral design is typical of Beijing rugs, with balanced ornamental compositions and floral motifs distributed harmoniously over a circular field, creating a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic.
The rug features a fine and lightweight construction, characteristic of high-quality silk pieces, with a flexible drape and a soft touch that enhances its decorative and exclusive appearance.
