Description from the seller

This is a stunning example of a vintage original teapot from the Cylinda Line stainless steel design series. This piece is fully marked with one of the first version of branding stamps, which includes the iconic AJ logo, for Arne Jacobsen.
The bottom is marked with one of the original Cylinda Line marks 'stelton STAINLESS DENMARK' as well as the AJ (Arne Jacobsen) logo to the right. Though it is a slightly poorly stamped mark.

Arne Jacobsen is a Danish architect and designer born in 1902. In 1924 Jacobsen studied architecture at Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. As a student he was awarded a silver medal for chair design at the Paris art deco fair. He then went on to win the Danish Architects Association ‘House of Future’ competition in collaboration with Flemming Lassen which allowed him to start his own firm only a year later.
