The mortars date from the mid-19th century.
The mortars or "lesungs or lumpangs" of these sizes are rarely found.
The small lesung measures 21 x 28 cm.
The large lesung measures 24 x 34 cm.
Beautiful decoration on the sidetable or functional with plants or dried bouquet.

Twee antieke houten vijzels uit Java Indonesië. 
De vijzels dateren uit het midden van de 19e eeuw.
De vijzels of "lesungs of lumpangs" van deze afmetingen zijn zelden te vinden.
De kleine lesung heeft de volgende afmetingen : 21 x 28 cm.
De grote lesung heeft de volgende afmetingen: 24 x 34 cm.
Fraaie decoratie op de sidetable of functioneel met planten of droogboeket.
