Elegant sidetable / writing desk in Louis XV style, manufactured in France around the mid-20th century.

The furniture stands on graceful cabriole legs with subtle claw feet and has a characteristic curved front of the drawer with original Rococo hardware in bronze-tone finish.

The proportions are refined and balanced, typical for French revival furniture from this period.

The top is finished in beautiful root walnut veneer with a warm, lively grain.

The raised gallery edge around the top gives the piece extra character and functionality. The central drawer is lined on the inside with green felt and opens smoothly.

A stylish piece of furniture that works excellently as a writing desk, hall table or decorative sidetable.
