The iGuzzini Baobab lamp is an icon of Italian design from the 1970s, known for its distinctive "mushroom" shape and the innovative use of the era's plastic materials. Designed by iGuzzini's in-house team (often attributed to Studio 6G led by Luigi Massoni).

Materials: The lampshade is made of translucent acrylic (plexiglass) that creates a particular radiant effect when the lamp is on. The base is usually metal lacquered or painted, sometimes with chrome finishes.
