Description from the seller

A special handmade display cabinet / bookcase is offered, originating from family ownership.

According to family tradition, this cabinet was handmade around 1950-1960 by a carpenter. The cabinet was made as a replica of an original family piece that was lost during the war. Based on preserved drawings, the design has been rebuilt. Thus this is not a mass-produced item, but a unique piece of furniture with a personal and historical story.

The cabinet has a classical, sober appearance with beautiful proportions. The front consists of two doors with large glass panes and wooden base panels. Inside, there are several shelves, making the cabinet suitable as a display cabinet, bookcase, or china cabinet. The profiled top cornice and the open cut-out at the bottom give the piece extra character.

The dark finish reveals the visible wood grain and a lovely patina that suits the age. In the photos, signs of use are visible, including light scratches, wear on the bottom, and normal signs of aging. This adds to the authentic look of the furniture.

A cozy and unique piece for lovers of hand-crafted furniture, family heirlooms, and interiors with character.

The cabinet is in used vintage condition, appropriate for its age. There are visible signs of use, small scratches, and wear, especially at the bottom and along the edges. The doors, glass panes, and shelves are present.
