Patchwork Kelim carpets are unique works of art created by assembling handwoven Kelim pieces, and they impress with their flat structure, high durability, and vibrant vintage style. They fuse centuries-old weaving traditions with modern, sustainable design.

Upcycling old carpets: For an authentic patchwork Kelim, older traditional Kelims from regions such as Anatolia or Persia are carefully selected.

Cleaning and dyeing: The old carpets are washed on both sides, often decolorized and sometimes overdyed with fresh colors to create a modern look.

Mosaic handiwork: The carpets are cut into pieces, each piece is individually knotted at the edges, and hand-sewn with a sturdy thread into a new overall work.

Patchwork-Kelim-Teppiche sind einzigartige Kunstwerke, die durch das Zusammensetzen handgewebter Kelim-Teile entstehen und durch ihre flache Struktur, hohe Strapazierfähigkeit und lebendigen Vintage-Stil bestechen. Sie verbinden jahrhundertealte Webtraditionen mit modernem, nachhaltigem Design.

Reinigung und Färbung: Die alten Teppiche werden beidseitig gewaschen, oft entfärbt und manchmal mit frischen Farben überfärbt, um einen modernen Look zu erzeugen.

Mosaik-Handarbeit: Die Teppiche werden in Stücke geschnitten, einzeln umkettelt und von Hand mit einem robusten Garn zu einem neuen Gesamtwerk zusammengenäht.
