AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Art Nouveau transparent amber glass vase with acid-etched decoration, École de Nancy (attributed to Legras), circa 1900-1910.
Stunning tall cylindrical vase in transparent warm golden amber glass, enhanced with a deeper red-amber rim and foot. The body features a superb acid-etched vegetal decoration in deep reddish-brown: sinuous branches, veined leaves and stylized berry clusters in the purest Art Nouveau spirit. This classic period technique — acid-etching on transparent colored glass — creates beautiful relief, transparency effects and refined contrast, characteristic of the great École de Nancy workshops. The piece reacts very strongly under UV light, highlighting the quality of the metallic oxides used.
Very beautiful, rare and elegant piece, in very good condition for its age with some discreet signs of use. Weight 1700 g. Height 30 cm, maximum diameter approx. 12 cm.
Very carefully packed shipment.
