Pyrite Crystal cluster- 120 g - (3)

An interesting set of 3 specimens of cube-group minerals from the famous Navajún deposit, La Rioja. It comprises a pinecone-sized cluster measuring 35x30x30 mm, a group of 4 cubes joined together measuring 40x30x20 mm, and a small cluster measuring 18x18x21 mm. In all cases these are specimens with sharply defined edges and the characteristic luster of Navajún pyrites.
In the last three photos you can observe small marks on each specimen produced when extracted. Those marks correspond to cubes that were joined and could not be recomposed.
On the other hand, in the third and final photo you can see that the smallest specimen has a limonitized residue that could not be removed during the cleaning process. In any case, it gives it an authenticity that does not diminish its beauty.
Finally, the set can complete a collection of classic minerals, since the macles/twins from Navajún are never identical to one another.
