Description from the seller

Siphon coffee maker, H.Eicke & Fraureuth.

- H.Eicke siphon in chromed metal.
Hermann Eicke (1837-1897) is regarded as the inventor of the first siphon coffee maker. He filed the patent in 1878.
His brass or chromium coffee makers, often marked "H. Eicke Berlin", are today sought-after collectibles. An electric version was patented by his descendants in 1910.

- Fraureuth porcelain, The Fraureuth Porcelain Manufactory, located in Fraureuth, produced utilitarian and decorative porcelain. It operated from 1865 until its bankruptcy in 1926.

Item in good original and usable condition, no major defects except for the missing lid seal on the coffee pot and the screw is missing from the metal support. (see photos).
