Christofle - Cutlery set (5) - Metal - Appetizer box

Elegant silvered metal hors-d'oeuvres service set, signed Christofle Silverware, originally sold by the authorized dealer at 5, Cours de l'Intendance in Bordeaux.

The dark green embossed faux-leather case, with a gold clasp and an ivory satin-lined interior, contains five service pieces in the Art Deco style characteristic of Christofle productions of the interwar period: handles with beveled cross-section, central rib, mirror finish.

The set is in very good condition for its age: the silvering is well preserved, with light traces of natural oxidation, original box intact. A beautiful object for a French bourgeois table, ready to be displayed or used.
