Round oak wooden box or chest with brass handle, two identical clasps and a hinged front. The interior is lined with possibly leather. It can be used, among other things, to store a vase, a jar, a sculpture, or an instrument. Probably from around 1900.

The box was filmed in Amiens (France) last April for the BBC programme Bargain Hunt. See screenshot.

Maximum internal height: 32.5 cm. Maximum diameter: about 16 cm.

In good condition. Small damages overall. See also the photos that are part of the description.

Ronde eikenhouten doos of kist met messing greep, twee idem sluitingen en scharnierend front. Het interieur is bekleed met mogelijk leer. Kan onder meer gebruikt worden voor het bewaren van een vaas, een bokaal, een sculptuur of een instrument. Waarschijnlijk rond 1900
