Description from the seller
I am selling a splendid handmade professional racing bicycle, built in 1984 by the renowned Roman frame builder and former rider Liberati. A sought-after piece for enthusiasts, ideal for amateur races and historic recreations.
Suitable for people 180 to 187 cm tall, thanks to the saddle-tube excursion.
Technical features
Frame size: 60 cm
Tubing: Columbus SL - chromium-molybdenum steel frame
Bottom bracket: Cinelli
Groupset: Campagnolo "Nuovo Record" complete (in production 1983–1985)
Rims: light alloy and tires with little mileage, like new
Spokes: stainless steel (36 per wheel)
Drivetrain: double chainring 52/48 teeth
Handlebars: 3ttt in hard aluminum
Bar tape: Cinelli blue
Pedals: with dual system for securing the cleats
Freewheel: 6 speeds, road and hill climbing gears
Saddle: San Marco, comfort
Rigidity: rigid frame, condition like new
The bike has been kept with great care, always indoors, and presents excellent condition for its age and type. Perfect for those seeking an authentic, performing vehicle with an important history.
One minor defect: the spirit varnish, very popular in the 1980s, shows some signs of peeling. For those who love the charm of originality this is not a problem; alternatively it can be easily repainted to the color of your choice.
