Rare German political world map by the publisher Mang’s, Stuttgart, circa the 1920s. Large papier-mâché globe with a diameter of 33 cm and height of 64 cm, mounted on a turned wooden base, with a glass compass and a brass meridian axis. Cartography is very detailed for the era, including colonies; Siam and Constantinople are still shown. Publisher’s mark, legend, navigation lines, air routes, Graf Zeppelin routes. Good condition with normal signs of wear and use (see photos); no dents!
