Up for auction: original unpublished color test illustration for a board game on William the Conqueror, acrylics on cardboard, 300g, signed, format 32x24 cm, author Fabrizio Russo.

Fabrizio Russo
Born in Milan on August 14, 1970. After finishing art high school, he specialized as an illustrator at the Higher School of Art of Castello Sforzesco.
In 1991, he attends the Milan Cartoon School, taking lessons from Enea Riboldi, through whom he gains familiarity with comic techniques.
After some sporadic experiences in the field of illustration, in 1994 he arrives at Bonelli, debuting on the pages of Zona X. For this publication he graphically creates the character Robinson Hart, conceived by Mignacco, and he draws seven episodes, until the series ends. After working on Martin Mystère he joined the drawing staff of Dampyr.
From 2010 he collaborates with the French publishing house Clair De Lune. And subsequently with the French publishing house Petit à Petit.
In 2012 he becomes part of the Zagor staff, and from 2017 he illustrates 3 Tex stories.
In 2021 he begins a collaboration with the French publisher Plain vent, publishing 3 books "The Story of Carlo Acutis", "The Carmelites of Compiègne" and "Comtat Venaissin".
