Description from the seller
Atmospheric lot of three antique French enameled coffee pots, each executed in cream-white with a unique hand-painted floral motif. The three pots differ in form and decoration, which makes the lot extra interesting for collectors.
The slim tall pot on the left is adorned with a light bouquet of daisies and wildflowers in pastel colors. The twisted pot on the right carries a lively decoration of small orange flowers with green garlands. The bulb-shaped pot in front has the richest decor, with large red and purple leaves, roses and butterflies in a luxuriant botanical composition.
All three pots are equipped with a matching lid and have the characteristic thin spout and elegant handle that are typical of the French enamel tradition from the early twentieth century. This type of household goods was mass-produced in France and is today popular as brocante kitchen decor.
The pots are used but in good condition, with patina appropriate to their age.
Origin: France
Material: enameled metal, hand-painted
Condition: used, good condition
Period: circa 1910-1920
Quantity: 3 pieces, sold as a lot
