The work Aeternitas stages a powerful dialogue between classicism and contemporaneity, blending the timeless iconography of Renaissance sculpture with the raw energy of urban street art. The face, clearly inspired by classical tradition, is reinterpreted through a cold and vibrant palette, dominated by blue tones that amplify the sense of emotional distance and introspection.

The pictorial surface is rich in material stratifications: scratches, drips, and gestural interventions that evoke city walls marked by time, creating a direct contrast with the ideal perfection of the sculptural form. The background, characterized by graffiti and spontaneous graphic signs, introduces a contemporary urban dimension that “contaminates” the past, making it current and alive.

The piece was created for subtraction and overlay, building an image that appears at once solid and fragmented. The face emerges and dissolves in space, as if suspended between historical memory and the urban present. This visual tension makes the work particularly engaging and instantly recognizable.
