This work explores beauty as something built rather than inherent. The body becomes surface, the garment a force that frames and alters it. I am interested in that precise moment where beauty stops being natural and becomes intentional—constructed, unstable, and undeniable.

I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
