A Roman bronze statuette of a standing male figure, probably Hercules or a votive deity, 1st-3rd century A.D.
Depicting a nude male with muscular torso and legs, standing in contrapposto. The figure has a finely modelled head with short curly hair and pronounced facial features. His right arm is lowered, while the left arm is raised and supports an object or attribute (possibly the Nemean lion skin or a club, now partially missing or fused by corrosion). The surface displays a rich dark patina with extensive attractive green encrustation.
