Description from the seller
Giclée print on premium museum-quality paper A3, 29.7 x 42 cm, 300 g/m² in a limited edition of only 5 copies.
This digital print, which imitates the textured oil painting style, is an intense fusion of elements from anime pop culture and traditional Japanese art.
• Main Subject: It depicts Tanjiro Kamado, the protagonist of the Demon Slayer anime and manga. He is portrayed bust-length, with his signature scar on the forehead, the hanafuda earrings, and his green and black checkered haori. His gaze is fixed and determined.
• Surreal and Symbolic Background: The background is rich in symbolism and blends various elements:
• Ukiyo-e Art: Behind him rise stylized waves that recall Hokusai's famous "The Great Wave off Kanagawa," representing water and movement.
• Cherry Blossoms (Sakura): Branches of pink cherry blossoms bloom around his head, a classic symbol of Japan and the transience of life.
• Demon Eyes and Blood: Large unsettling, weeping demon eyes are incorporated among the flowers and in the sky, creating a dark, horror atmosphere. Some flowers themselves seem to weep droplets of blood.
Production Method: Development of a preliminary visual-architecture through AI generative models to define composition, tonal values, and color schemes, followed by meticulous manual digital painting to refine anatomy, integrate customized textures, and imprint the artist's distinctive stylistic signature.
