What is a "Panthagon"?
Born from my imagination, the Panthagon stems from a cross between a panther and a spiky dragon. This explains why it has spikes on its back. Juveniles are born with only 4-6 spikes. As they grow, the females keep their 4-6 spikes while the males develop additional spikes on the back and up to the tail. There are different shapes of spikes (straight, inclined, short, long, etc.) depending on the Panthagon subspecies.
Popularized thanks to Orlinski, Koons and many others, animal sculptures (balloon dog, lion, panther, crocodile...) are at the heart of pop art. I therefore offer you this representation of a Panthagon in resin fully painted with acrylic in a blue/black gradient and in crackle version. Pop art/contemporary art style. Sculpture dimensions: 43 cm x 13 cm x 9 cm. Triple coat of glossy UV-protective varnish. Sculpture signed / hand-numbered on the bottom. Supplied with its certificate of authenticity.
