Description from the seller
Offered: A Kodak Vest Pocket Hawk-Eye camera in the “extremely rare color” purple/pink. The camera is in a “fair to good condition.”
The purple/pink combination is one of the rarest color variants in the series. Cameras in this specific color are only sporadically available on the market and are highly sought after by collectors. The camera dates from the late 1920s and combines an elegant Art Deco design with a striking, rare color scheme. The camera is a real eye-catcher and a chance that rarely comes along — ideal for the discerning camera or Art Deco collector.
Condition:
Very nicely preserved with signs of use and aging, appropriate for a piece over 100 years old. The color is exceptionally bright and uniform, especially given the age. The shutter operates at the two available speeds T and I (1/50), however the bellows are no longer light-tight due to the gear's wear at the time. Aperture adjustable to 4 settings. A beautiful collectible or decorative piece with character.
