Lot consisting of a 100 ml bottle of Giusti aged condiment aged over 100 years.
Extracted each year in limited quantities, Giusti 100 is a special reserve aged over 100 years in the house’s oldest cask cellars.
Characterized by a broad aromatic bouquet and its unmistakable sweet-sour taste, it presents intense woody notes and ripe fruit.
Each bottle is numbered and hand-finished, housed in a case with a small hand-blown glass pipette.
A unique product, enhanced by a 24-karat gold label and printed in movable type, using a 19th-century Modenese typeface.
Ingredients: cooked grape must
Aging: in ancient casks dating back to the 1700s
Pairings: Risotto, fresh pasta, stuffed pasta, meats, aged cheeses and desserts
The house’s most exclusive collection, produced every year in extremely limited quantities and drawn from some precious production casks dating back to the 1700s. One of these casks, coded A3, was brought by Giusti to the National Exhibition of Florence in 1861 where a 90-year-old elixir drawn from it won a gold medal, a success repeated later in Paris at the Exposition of 1889.
