Hand-lacquered and hand-painted Sideboard from the Late 19th Century
Elegant hand-lacquered and hand-painted sideboard, entirely made of wood, dating from the late 19th century. The piece features a solid, compact structure with a slightly curved front and shaped sides, characterized by harmonious proportions and refined artisanal craftsmanship.
The front door is adorned with a rich central painted decoration depicting a flowering vase with a multicolored floral arrangement, framed by scrolls, garlands and ornamental motifs in shades of blue, green and ochre on an ivory-lacquered background naturally patinated by time. The side panels echo floral motifs and stylized cartouches, giving continuity and decorative coherence to the entire furniture piece.
The lower panel is also hand-decorated with floral elements and ornamental details, while the molded base rests on shaped feet that complete the elegant overall line.
