Antique Dutch fire grate dated 1815, made of iron and copper, with elaborate decoration and the initials ASH; folded height 108 cm and width 17 cm, extended width 155 cm.

We offer you: a beautiful dated Dutch fire grate with a lot of decoration, including, on the top of the grate: a heart; the literal text: Anno 1815 IHS and above it a cross. Furthermore the fire grate is decorated with tendrils and flowers and the initials of the owner: ASH.
At the top you see a small piece of copper, attached with three copper screws. At the bottom of the fire grate is a knob decorated with copper balls.
All in all a splendid piece of folk art, which in this size, width and decorations is rarely encountered.
