Description from the seller

The Samara modules are a famous series of modular furniture designed by Dutch designer and architect Derk Jan de Vries in the 1970s for the Italian company Maisa of Seveso. This system represents a perfect synthesis between the rigor of Nordic modernism and the artisanal excellence of Brianza.
The design, unmistakable, is distinguished by clean lines, rounded corners, and the use of precious natural materials, mainly solid ash or beech wood.
The elements are conceived to be stacked or placed side by side, allowing endless configurations as bookcases, fitted walls, or any piece of furniture that reflects one’s personal taste.
Iconic Detail: Many modules feature handles carved directly into the wood through two paired circular holes, a distinctive mark of the series.
In this lot four modules are presented:
- two modules 38x38x76 with retractable shelves in smoked glass
- an open-front module 38x38x38
- a three-drawer module 38x38x38
The measurements listed in the details refer to the typical composition of the first photos.
One of the two glass panels has a small nick at one corner which, when placed on the inside, is practically invisible. The shipping costs are for a single shipment on a dedicated pallet.
The photos are an integral part of the description.
