Description from the seller
ShPR-164 is a desktop mechanical pencil sharpener made in the USSR. It was produced at the Vladimir plant "Avtoprylad" from approximately the 1950s to the end of the 1980s. This model is valued for its reliability, durability and aluminum alloy (silumin) body.
Main characteristics:
Versatile: Suitable for graphite and colored pencils of various shapes and thicknesses (from 7 to 12 mm).
Mechanism: Uses a steel cutter that rotates due to a planetary gearbox.
Mounting: The kit includes a special clamp (black L-shaped part in the photo), which allows you to firmly fix the device on the edge of the table for ease of use.
Chip collection: There is a retractable plastic container at the bottom for collecting waste.
How to use:
Attach the sharpener: Use the metal clamp to screw the device to the tabletop.
Lock the pencil: Press the two “ears” (leaf-like levers) on the front metal panel and pull it forward. Insert the pencil into the hole and release the ears - the 6 toothed grips will securely clamp it.
Sharpening: Turn the handle on the back of the sharpener clockwise until you feel a free movement.
Removing: Press the ears again and carefully remove the sharpened pencil.
