Lot of 4 Antique Chinese Blue-and-White Porcelain Objects – Qing Dynasty (18th/19th century)
An attractive and varied lot consisting of four antique Chinese blue-and-white porcelain objects from the Qing dynasty. The pieces show a harmonious mix of floral, landscape, and geometric decorations, all hand-painted in underglaze blue.
Item descriptions
1. Large round plate – Flora
Decor with peonies and blossom branches.
Dimensions: Ø 23.5 cm, height 2.5 cm.
2. Round saucer – Landscape
Finely detailed mountain landscape with a temple.
Noteworthy: slight glaze crazing / iron spot formed during firing.
Dimensions: Ø 12 cm, height 2 cm.
3. Octagonal bowl – Geometric motif
Adorned with a subtle geometric floral pattern.
Dimensions: Ø 12.5 cm, height 2 cm.
4. Small octagonal saucer – Panel decoration
Featuring traditional panel ornamentation.
Dimensions: Ø 9.5 cm, height 2.5 cm.
Condition
The lot is in fair, antique condition suitable for its age (c. 150–250 years):
Large plate: Used condition with some visible scratches in the glaze from use as a plate. Authentic appearance. Some small frits on the rim.
Landscape saucer: In good condition with light fritting (minuscule rim flakes) and a firing mark/iron spot from the firing process.
Octagonal Kangxi bowl: Small chip on the rim.
Small octagonal saucer: Repaired, as visible in the photos.
