Description
Gorgeous, three-armed silver candelabrum with a timeless appearance, crafted from 835/1000 silver (2nd fineness). This piece combines classic craftsmanship with a stately presence.
The design is detailed with refined cannelures (ribbed edges) on the base, the stem and the drip cups.
The candelabrum is fitted with three candle holders with removable upper rings (bêches), which makes cleaning easier. These rings are smoothly finished, creating a nice contrast with the worked elements of the candelabrum.
Important details about the hallmarks:
The 835 hallmark is clearly stamped on the base of the candelabrum (see photo). As well as the Dutch Z II re-issue mark for 2nd-fineness silver 835/000
The three removable candle holders (upper rings) are not separately tested/marked. This is very common with this type of candlesticks from this period.
Condition:
In very good condition. No dents, deep scratches or repairs. The silver has an excellent luster.
