Bronze traditional Chinese incense burner with a three-legged stand, dragon-head handles, and a pagoda lid, dating from 1980–1990, measuring 19.5 cm high, 13.5 cm wide, 9 cm deep and weighing 790 g, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and stains, titled Pagode / Tempel.

This is a traditional Chinese incense burner (xianglunull香炉) with a distinctive three-part design: a richly decorated bowl on three legs, dragon-head handles on either side, and a decorative pagoda lid.
Decorative elements:
Lid: An elegant pagoda with curling roof edges and geometric cutout motifs, topped with a double gourde-shaped knop (a symbol of luck and protection)
Handles: Two stylized dragon heads flanking the bowl – dragons are symbols of strength, wisdom, and divine protection
Bowl: Adorned with floral scrollwork and lotus motifs in relief, with a beautiful patina.
Feet: Three lion-head feet that convey stability and strength
Cultural context: Incense burners like this were used in temples, on altars, and in scholarly households for ritual ceremonies, meditation, or simply to perfume the space. Burning incense was an essential part of Buddhist and Taoist practices.
