Polish vintage flower stand in green painted wood, model "Vintage Flower Stand", 100 cm high, 30 cm wide, 29 cm deep, dating to the 1940s (1930s–1950s), in good condition with minor signs of aging.
Description from the seller
Polish Art Deco Flower Stand / Plant Pedestal — 1940s — Green Painted Wood — Very Good Condition
A tall, elegant flower stand / console pedestal manufactured in Poland in the 1940s. The piece features a distinctive slatted spindle construction — multiple slender vertical slats fan out from a small square top surface down to a lower shelf, supported by four long tapered legs. The entire piece is painted in a deep hunter green.
Style & Design:
The design is characteristic of Central European decorative furniture from the interwar and wartime period, blending folk craft traditions with Art Deco simplicity. The tall, narrow silhouette and open slatted body give it a timeless, architectural quality that works equally well in classic, eclectic, and contemporary interiors.
Use:
Originally intended as a flower stand or plant pedestal, it can also serve as a display pedestal for sculpture, ceramics, or decorative objects.
Condition:
Very good for its age. As with all vintage pieces from this era, minor signs of age are present — possible light scratches, slight discoloration, and small surface imperfections consistent with authentic patina. These do not detract from the overall appearance.
Materials: Wood (painted)
Color: Deep hunter green
Origin: Poland
Period: 1940s
Shipping: Sent via registered and fully tracked courier service.
