Robust industrial wall- or ceiling lamp with a clear functional origin. This type of bulkhead lamp was used in factories, workshops, machine rooms and ship environments where protection against impact, moisture and dirt was essential.

The lamp consists of a heavy cast-iron base plate with a permanently mounted fixture, in which a thick glass cylinder is protected by a metal cage cap. The cage with glass dome is removable from the fixture body; the original bayonet fitting is still intact. With a weight of just over 4 kg, this is clearly a functional, industrial artifact, not a fake.

The original paint layer is largely worn away and shows beautiful oxidation and patina — remnants of black and blue paint alternate with honest rust and wear. This gives the object exactly the authentic, well-used industrial look that is hard to copy. Suitable as both a functional lamp (after revision) and as a decorative statement in an industrial interior.
