Description from the seller
Premium - Celestine Geode
An essential of your interior decoration
Celestine comes from the Latin term « coelestis » meaning “heavenly.” It is more commonly translated as “sky blue.” In 1789, shortly after its discovery, the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner named this crystal as such, whose reflections resemble a sky bathed in light.
Its color, of great softness, earns it the nickname “Stone of Angels.” According to legend, it was born from the pure and hypnotic song of angels. It is also associated with the constellation Pleiades, considered the spiritual cradle of humanity.
Many synonyms are attached to it, among which celestite, cliftonite, dioxynite, sicilianite, or strontian sulfate.
