Philotrain H0 - 102A - Model tram (1) - whistling kettle - HTM

The model is assembled but purchased unpainted. The “paint job” was done by an amateur (could have been better).

The little engine was tested and is working but after years of inactivity it needs some TLC.
Overall condition: somewhat yellowed
The cabin has no interior and no passengers, only the driver is present.

The trams were nicknamed "fluitketel" (steam kettle) due to the air-pressure whistle that was first used on these Hague trams. These historic trams, built for HTM’s outer lines to Delft, Rijswijk, Voorburg and Wassenaar. For this purpose, brand-new outer-line rolling stock is deployed. HTM would then have six new two-axle motor cars. One end of such a tram is still preserved by the Haags Openbaar Vervoer Museum
