Description from the seller

Footed porcelain compote in glazed earthenware from the Longwy factory, model decor "Marseille", dating from the early 20th century.
This beautiful decorative piece captivates with its elegant multicolored floral decoration hand-painted, featuring tulips and small blue flowers on a slightly stippled white background. The edge, emphasized by a delicate nuanced red border, adds great charm and recalls the grand French decorative productions of the Art Nouveau period and the early Art Deco era.
The compote rests on a central socle with clean, balanced lines, offering an elegant silhouette ideal for a refined table presentation or display in a shop window.
The famous Longwy factory seal as well as the model "Marseille" are visible under the base.
Dimensions:
Height: 11.5 cm
Diameter: 22.5 cm
Weight: 640 g

Condition:
Good overall vintage condition with a very nice glaze shine preserved.
To note: presence of a fine hairline/discreet crack on the edge of the plate (see photos). Aside from this, the piece retains a very beautiful presentation.
A fine testament to Longwy’s know-how in the early 20th century, sought after for its refined décors and luminous glazes.

Shipping: exceptionally careful and secure.
Best regards
