Jarosław Kiełczyński, a Poland-born artist, presents the original oil painting Longing (2026) on canvas stretched over a wooden frame, 50 × 50 cm, weight 1 kg, hand signed, in excellent condition, edition Original, with a certificate of authentication, sold by Gallery.
Description from the seller
In this whimsical canvas, a dapper dog sits with a bottle under a starlit sky, evoking the playful surrealism of Chagall with the elegance of a Victorian gentleman. The elongated figure, delineated by exaggerated limbs and poised posture, gazes longingly at the moon. This creature, a parody of human follies, masterfully merges anthropomorphism with a touch of existential jest.
The palette is a study in contrasts, with deep midnight blues punctuated by the vivid warmth of the dog’s attire — fiery red trousers and a polka-dotted tie. The cosmic backdrop, awash with speckled luminescence, invites viewers to ponder the mysteries of the universe through the earnest eyes of our canine dreamer. Here, folly meets finesse, whimsy entwines with wisdom.
Can a painting come to life? Can time stop and flow at the same time? Discover the mysterious 3D animation inspired by this extraordinary work - where the line between art and digital reality blurs in magical movement.
