Giuseppe Torre, born in 1956 in San Giorgio a Cremano (Naples). After obtaining the diploma as Industrial Chief Technician, he left school to pursue work as a freelance photographer, and at the same time began to cultivate what has always been his passions: painting and sculpture. Self-taught painter and sculptor, over the years he has experimented with many techniques and trends, eventually arriving at hyperrealism and sacred art. For years he has participated in regional and national group exhibitions, with notable public and critical success, and his solo shows have been equally well received. His works are on display at the E. Greco Museum in Sabaudia (LT), at the Regina dei Gigli Convent Complex in San Giorgio a Cremano (NA), at the Pinacoteca of the Basilica of St. Alofonso in Pagani (SA), at the Bishop’s House in Kaahma Tanzania, and in numerous private collections.
