Saudi commemorative coin minted in the context of the FAO campaign of the United Nations to combat hunger worldwide. The obverse shows the national emblem of Saudi Arabia with a palm tree above two crossed swords and the inscription with the name of King Faisal and the issuing country. The reverse presents the face value “25 Halalas” (equivalent to a quarter of a riyal), the dual date in the Islamic and Gregorian calendars, and a Quranic quote appealing for compassion to the poor.
