Bedspread - 280 cm - 240 cm - Cantù lace bedspread

Lace bedspread, handmade by my great-grandmother who was a seamstress (with extremely high-quality manual finishes) in a technique reminiscent of Cantù lace or Venice lace.
History and Technique
• Period: From the style of the floral motifs and the complexity of the central ornament, it seems to be a piece from the mid-20th century (1940s–1960s), typical of luxury wedding trousseaus of the era.
• Craftsmanship: It features a central cartouche medallion, surrounded by rich floral and geometric borders. No pulls, rust stains, or localized yellowing.
Handmade, not an industrial product; all of Burano; 115-point needle; color écru; rare piece. It was valued up to €1,500, but no one will pay me that amount.
