Neo-Renaissance armchair in solid oak, Belgian (Flanders) origin, dating to the 20th century, with dimensions 115 cm high, 65 cm wide, 67 cm deep, in good condition with light signs of aging.

Neo-renaissance armchair / Flemish chair in solid oak – Belgium – approx. 1900
Elegant and richly worked armchair in Flemish neo-renaissance / neo-baroque style, presumably manufactured in Belgium around the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th.
The chair is made most likely of solid oak and features beautifully carved armrests, decorative lower rail with openwork carving and turned connecting spindles. The warm patina and artisanal finish give the furniture a characterful and authentic appearance.
Upholstered with decorative gobelin/tapestry fabric with classic floral motifs in rich colors. The upholstery aesthetically complements the historical style of the furniture.
Condition
Good antique-used condition with normal age- and use-related marks:
• stable construction
• light wear suitable for age
• underside with traditional singel construction
• some singels show aging and sagging
• beautiful natural patina on the wood
