Description from the seller

The Tascam 112 is a cassette deck/recorder designed for professional use, but it also suits domestic use well. Tascam, as is known, is the professional division of Teac, the Japanese brand that made history in reel-to-reel and cassette recorders.
Sold with a virgin TEAC cassette as pictured.
This professional-class cassette deck/recorder is built to last. Extremely robust (over 6 kg in weight) and with a striking visual impact thanks also to the two beautiful backlit analog VU meters.
Fully servo-assisted it is equipped with track search, Dolby B and C, MPX filter, two heads and three distinct motors for the movements and transport, and all those functions you would expect to find on a cassette deck.

The Tascam 112B is a professional studio stereo cassette recorder, rack-mountable, known for its high reliability. Characterized by a 2-head, 3-motor mechanism, it offers Dolby B/C and HX Pro noise reduction, a frequency response of 25 Hz–20 kHz, and pitch control ±12%. It provides balanced and unbalanced I/O. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Main Features and Technical Specifications:
System: 2 heads, single compact cassette deck.
Tracks: 4 tracks, 2 channels (stereo).
Tape Speed: 4.8 cm/s.
Motors: 3 motors (capstan, reel, ancillary).
Noise Reduction: Dolby B, C, HX Pro.
Frequency Response: 25 Hz - 20 kHz.
Tape Types: Type I, CrO2, Metal.

Functions: Pitch control ±12%, 2-point autolocator, Return-to-zero (RTZ), Auto-Input monitoring. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

The 112B is essentially a variant of the Tascam 112, often equipped with XLR connectivity on the rear panel, intended for broadcast contexts and professional studio environments.
