The Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. is one of the finest standard lenses from Canon's legendary FD mount era. The "S.S.C." (Super Spectra Coating) designation indicates Canon's advanced multi-layer coating for superior flare control, contrast, and color rendition. With 7 elements in 6 groups and a fast f/1.4 aperture, it delivers outstanding sharpness, rich colors, and beautiful bokeh — making it a favorite among film photographers and vintage lens enthusiasts.
Compatible with all Canon FD/FL mount film SLRs, and can be adapted to modern mirrorless cameras (Sony E, Fuji X, Canon RF, Nikon Z, Micro Four Thirds, etc.) via adapters.
There is a slight haze on the rear element, but it should have little to no effect on photography. Overall, it is in good condition.
